I am a second-year Accounting student at the University of Florida’s Fisher School of Accounting, planning to pursue my CPA with a particular interest in audit. I am drawn to audit because of its role in promoting financial transparency and strengthening the integrity of organizations. Through my coursework and leadership experience as Finance Coordinator for Alpha Omicron Pi, where I help manage a $270,000+ budget for a 300+ member organization, I am developing strong analytical skills and attention to detail that are essential in the accounting profession . Originally from Miami, I grew up in a fast-paced and diverse environment that shaped my adaptability and work ethic. I played competitive soccer for thirteen years, which taught me discipline, resilience, and how to contribute meaningfully within a team. In addition, my experience as Vice President of Marketing for the Hermes pledge class of Delta Sigma Pi and as Editor-in-Chief of my high school yearbook has strengthened my leadership, communication, and ability to manage high-responsibility roles. I am eager to continue building my experience in professional settings and to learn from others in the accounting field.
